Project co-financed by the European Union under the Competitiveness and Cohesion Programme 2021–2027
Project title: Research and Development of an Automated System for Pharmacogenetic and Nutrigenetic Genome Analysis
Call title: RDI S3 – Increasing the Development of New Products and Services Arising from Research and Development Activities (PK.1.1.12)
Call reference number: PK.1.1.12
Project code: PK.1.1.12.0174
Project summary:
The project addresses the limitations of the generic “one-size-fits-all” approach to disease treatment and prevention, which fails to consider genetic differences between individuals. This often leads to ineffective treatments and significant adverse drug reactions.
The project’s objective is to develop two innovative digital solutions for personalized healthcare: Identyum PGx Drug Selector and Identyum Nutrigenetic Analyzer. These solutions enable automated genome analysis to support personalized medication selection and nutrition interventions. The project’s target groups include healthcare institutions and professionals, patients and citizens, and the scientific community.
The project is being implemented through a collaboration between Identity Consortium d.o.o., the Ruđer Bošković Institute (Center for Research, Development and Transfer of Knowledge and Technologies), and the University North.
