About us:

Identity Consortium d.o.o. is a high-tech regtech startup founded in 2018. Through our own Identyum platform, we develop innovative solutions in the fields of digital identification, identity management, and electronic signature, in compliance with the strictest regulatory and security standards (eIDAS, PSD2, GDPR, ISO 27001/27701).

We’re focused exclusively on our own products – we develop and continuously improve the ID Wallet, Sign, and Identify services, which are used by the largest financial institutions in the region for digital user onboarding, remote document signing, and identity management.

Technologies we use:

• Backend: Java 17+, Spring Boot, Maven.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Search & Analytics: Elasticsearch.
• Messaging & Streaming: Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Cache: Redis.
• Other: Graylog, REST + gRPC, microservices, Docker.

Experience with the above technologies is preferred but not required – what matters most is that you think like an engineer and are eager to learn.

Bonus points if you:

• Know React (or are willing to learn the basics for team collaboration).
• Are familiar with Docker and understand what a “real-world” deploy looks like.

Location & work model:

• Headquarters: Zagreb.
• Work: Hybrid model – you’re welcome in the office every day if you prefer, but we expect at least 2 days per week onsite.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Solid understanding of working with databases, API design, Git, etc.
• Independence and responsibility, along with good teamwork skills.

Salary:

• From 2700 – 3200 EUR gross level 1 depending on experience and knowledge.
