In June 2021, four partners kicked off the “Identyum NOW” project to create a new, innovative and paradigm-shifting service, the first one of this kind in the EU and global market. This project was funded by the Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia Cooperation Programme 2014-2020, B Light grant scheme and is implemented from 1st June 2021 until 31st May 2022.
Closing conference of the project “Identyum NOW” took place on May 27th 2022 in Varaždin and was held by the project partners – HAMAG BICRO (lead beneficiary), Identity Consortium d.o.o. (lead partner), Info3 d.o.o. (partner from Croatia) and Bancard Kft (partner from Hungary). The conference was opened by Dejan Martinčević, CEO of the project partner – Info3 d.o.o. He held a welcoming speech for the participants and stated that the implementation of the Identyum NOW project was very successful and finished on time. All the project partners achieved this by working together on project activities.
Mrs Andrea Kakas, Programme manager at Interreg V-A Hungary-Croatia Co-operation Programme Joint Secretariat also participated in the conference and introduced the further tender plans in the B Light grant scheme. Robert Ilijaš, CEO of Identity Consortium d.o.o. presented the Identyum NOW web portal as the project’s main result, which allows anyone to easily use fully automatized services for identity verification and electronic signing. Identyum NOW portal can be used by both citizens and companies, and the registration process is fully automated. No special technical prerequisites or technical knowledge are required to use the NOW web portal, and the interface is simple and user-friendly.
